If yer reading this, I don't know how you got here. But, please take a moment to read:
When my Grandfather died of Cancer, his funeral was void of flowers. Why?
Well, when he was first diagnosed ( he was diagnosed 3 different time, 3 different cancers) He walked up those halls, struggled, old... But while there, he saw others with cancer.
It was the kids with the Cancer that truly touched him.
"I am old", he told himself. "These children are riddled with tumors, just as I am. These children are frightend, afraid, lost, just as I am. Yet, I am an old man. These are merely children, stricken with the same disease, yet many lives unfullfilled, not-yet-lived....
Instead of flowers at his funeral, he asked that everybody attending save that money, keep that money, and give it to a foundation. Give it to a foundation that helps children with cancer. They are the ones who truly need our help...
"Don't give up, Don't ever give up" - Jimmy V at the Espy's speech, eight weeks before dying of bone cancer.
